What is the actual maximum speed of the car, and is it suitable for a beginner?
The advertised speed is 15-20 km/h. This equates to a brisk walking pace or light jog, making it fast enough to be exciting indoors or in a small outdoor area, but not so fast as to be uncontrollable for a beginner. Its four-wheel drive (4WD) system and simple controls make it very beginner-friendly.
How long does the battery last, and is anything extra needed to start playing right out of the box?
The 3.7V, 500mAh battery provides approximately 20 to 30 minutes of play time per charge. The box includes everything you need to get started (car, remote control, battery, USB charger), except for two AA batteries for the remote control. The battery takes approximately 1 hour to fully charge. And for those who want to use it for longer periods of time, we have several options for purchasing up to 3 batteries.
Is it difficult to learn how to drift with this model, and what accessories are included to help?
It's easy to make the car slide, but learning to drift in a controlled manner can be challenging. The box includes a set of hard plastic tyres specifically for this purpose, as well as a set of rubber tyres for normal driving. In addition, they also come with small traffic cones so you can create your own practice circuits.
How durable is the car, and are spare parts available if something breaks?
The car is primarily made of plastic and PVC to keep its price affordable. It can withstand minor bumps, but a significant impact could cause damage. For these ‘toy grade’ models, replacement parts are generally not available. If a critical component breaks, you will most likely need to replace the entire car.
